| The reconstruction of PL urban city is a very important project in the company.Because it will be a key performance growth which is a great proportion in all investment in next coming year.But actually narrow site,complex environment and tightness plan will influence the project delivery.In order to deliver the project on time,it should be managed by a reasonable,workable and guidance plan.It’s very easy to be overdue and over budget during the project process.So based on domestic and aboard research,our team will use CCPM(Critical Chain Project Management)model to manage PL urban city reconstruction project.There are three main problems in PL urban city project management with traditional management theory:1."Resource limited" is the main problem in traditional project management theory.The traditional theory just only focus on the logic between each step but not consider how long each step will spend.It’s too simple to control a complex project process.2."Over due date" is another common problem in project management.There are many reasons such as uncertain factors,longer buffer time since KPI(Key Performance Indicator)stress,cutting down the planning time by higher management team,ect..All the reasons mentioned above will influence the project process out of control.3."Out of buffer time" also exist in process since "Student syndrome",not efficiency information delivery,or the influence of "Multi-Route Combination",ect..To improve the project management about PL urban project based on "Critical Chain Theory",such as cut down safety time in each process,eliminate the conflict of resource,define critical chain,project buffer setting and input buffer setting.Based on 50%rule to plan the project time when cutting down the safety time.When to define "Critical Chain" based on"Early arrive time(EarAT)" calculation rule to analyze,resource adjustment and estimate critical chain.It’s based on "Elastic Coefficient Method" to calculate all buffer time when buffer setting.Prevent action about control buffer time and correction action if project over due date are very important to ensure the PL urban construction project running smoothly.The project time when use "Critical Chain Project Management" theory to control project process is shorter than traditional project management method and meet cost saving target.Critical Chain Project Management(CCPM)is a reasonable,meaningful and feasible method in project management. |
