Fine Design Of External Wall Of Assembled Buildings

The industrialization of buildings and the concept of sustainable architecture are the focus of the construction industry in China today.At present,domestic mature projects are mainly in the residential sector.Limited by the technical and economic conditions,the creation of prefabricated buildings has a conflict between simplification and diversification.As an important part of architectural design,exterior wall design has many values such as aesthetic expression,space comfort,and technical safety.By weighing these multi-faceted value expressions,refined design strategies can enhance the overall quality of prefabricated buildings,achieve the sustainability and richness of architectural creation,and promote the widespread application of industrialization in a variety of building types.Firstly,the article reviews the development process,basic types and design principles of fabricated buildings,and summarizes the essentials and difficulties brought by industrialized construction to prefabricated exterior wall designs.Combined with relevant domestic and foreign building examples,the common prefabricated exterior walls were studied and classified according to structural features.Afterwards,aiming at the sustainable architectural concept and corresponding to the “applicable,economical,green,and beautiful” architectural policy,three strategies are proposed for the fine design of fabricated exterior walls which based on the above research on fabricated exterior walls.The three strategies respectively relate to component form,environmental response and construction process.Through on-site investigations and case studies,a summary of the refined design operations is made.Finally,taking the reconstruction and expansion project of the Gaochun Public Security Bureau office building in Nanjing as an example,the design method of the prefabricated exterior wall of the office building was introduced in detail.
