Among the mechanical equipment of the daily life,crane is widely used in all walks of life due to its remarkable characteristics.Nowadays,the crane has better performance,higher safety and reliability as a result of new ideas and methods are applied to the design of the crane.However,there are still some problems in the actual use of the crane.Gnawed rail,in the process of the gantry crane operation which caused by the deflection of the wheel,is a common phenomenon.It means that when the gantry crane walking,there is an angle between the actual trajectory and the assumed ideal trajectory and the contacting abrasion is generated between wheel flange and slide flange of track finally,which affects the natural and safe operation of crane.In the previous study of rail gnawing of the gantry crane,Scholars have paid a lot of attention to the manufacture and installation error of wheel or rail?structural deformation of the crane and so on.However,the influence of different characteristics of the erectionerror have been paid a little of attention.The paper selects 150t-71 m shipbuilding gantry crane as the object of study.Objective to investigate the effect of different characteristics of the erectionerror and position of the crane dolly on rail gnawing of the gantry crane.the research work is mainly from the following aspects:(1)Under the corresponding suppositions,the mechanical model of the cart operating mechanism of the gantry crane is established.The whole process of the skew operation of the crane is analyzed and the formula of the lateral force of the crane in the stage of unstable gnawing rail and stable gnawing rail is obtained.(2)A calculation example of force,the effect of different characteristics of the erectionerror and position of the crane dolly on rail gnawing of 150t-71 m shipbuilding gantry crane is obtained.And the results were analyzed and summarized.(3)The solid modeling and finite element simulation analysis of 150t-71 m shipbuilding gantry crane are completed by using Solidworks and ANSYS Workbench.the stress and deformation of the main girder of 150t-71 m shipbuilding gantry crane under different working conditions is obtained and the results were analyzed and summarized.
