A Study On Practice And Thoughts Of The City Renovation Planning Of Neoteric Chongqing

Opening Chongqing promoted the development of prosperity national commercial,in order to meet the needs of the rapid development of the city,Chongqing began to reconstruct the old city.In the very beginning,only part of the area in old city was innovated,then the municipal management mechanism gradually developed due to the establishment of the municipal system,thus the city renovation planning advanced in a broad-scale extent,after a series of city renovation planning,the structure and appearance of the old city have changed a lot,and the embryonic form of modern Chongqing city began to take shape.According to the characteristics of the municipal management mechanism from twentieth century twenties to thirties,this paper studies the practice content of the city renovation planning in this period,summarizes the methods and characteristics of the city renovation planning,and analysis the practice and thoughts of the city renovation planning in neoteric Chongqing.This paper is composed of seven chapters.The first chapter is the introduction part,which mainly introduces the research background and the origin of the subject,the purpose and the research significance,the research content and the research method,the review of the related subject study achievements from domestic and foreign researchers,and the research framework of this article.The second chapter introduces the development of Chonqing city in early-modern time,divide the history of urban planning into three stages according to the political and economic social vicissitude in Chongqing,the three stages are the exploration of modernization after opening port(1876-1921),the establishment of the municipal system and the city renovation planning(1921-1937),and the defense and reconstruction during and after Anti-Japanese War(1937-1949),then sort out the process of the city renovation planning,and study the evolution of municipal authorities.In the third chapter,the paper analyzes the operation of the modern municipal management mechanism and the practice content of the city renovation planning based on the municipal government evolution,and expounds the historical background of the city renovation planning.The fourth,fifth and sixth chapters are the core contents of this paper.First,this paper divides the city renovation planning in neoteric Chongqing into two aspects of the traffic and public utilities: To the road traffic planning which content the streets embellishing,the pier constructing,the road building and so on,the forth chapter analyze the characteristics of practice and thoughts from different aspects,such as land management and financing;To the public utilities construction,the fifth chapter researched the public service facilities and municipal infrastructure.Then combined with a large number of historical charts,the paper illustrated the different types of the renovation practice content,as well as the changes of the old city in style,pattern,function and the lives citizen.Finally,the sixth chapter analyzed Chongqing neoteric city renovation planning in the road,land management,people's livelihood,public participation and regional characteristics and other ideological characteristics.The seventh chapter is a summary of the city renovation planning in neoteric Chongqing,and from the revelation and prospects for future research.
