Method Research On The Northern Residential District Planning And Design From The Livable Perspective

With the rapid development of our society and economy as well as the increasing of the material standard of living,people have pursue more in the enjoyment of the spiritual culture.Influenced by this,the residential district planning have changed greatly.People have transformed from purely pursuing a simple residence to pursuing a high-quality,comfortable,green and ecological,healthy and environmentally-friendly residential environment of higher-level demands,and “ livability” has gradually become the topic of the era.Currently,the theoretical research on “livability” in overseas has relatively mature with established system,and good cases can be found in the various practical projects.However,influenced by many factors,the theory on the modern livability planning starts late in China,which centers on referring on the foreign experience in practices.Therefore,it is necessary to find the residential district planning and design method suitable to the national situation in current stage.The paper relies on the related theories at home and abroad and practical researches,and bases on summarizing the development situation of the residential district in our country after the founding of the nation as well as the unlivable reasons of the residential district in current stage to analyze the livable design feature and framework,make the conception orientation for livable design of residential district clear,analyze and summarize the residential district planning and design method,besides,takes the new petroleum planning and design in Renqiu as the case for empirical research,combines the theory with practice to inspect the feasibility of the design method.The paper consists of seven parts,Part I: introduces the research background,object,purpose and significance as well as the research content and method,makes the research idea clear.Part II: explains the concepts related to “livability”,“residential district” and “planning and design contents”,and summarizes the design factors needed for the residential district based on the planning as well as the experience for reference through analyzing the five excellent livable community cases at home and abroad.Part III: analyzes and summarizes the development situation of the residential district in our country after the founding of the nation as well as the existing problems in currentstage,finds out the “unlivable” reasons for the residential district in current stage.Part IV: based on the above three parts,puts forward the design framework of livable planning through analyzing the livable design feature thus to summarize the concept orientation for livable planning of the residential district.Part V: based on the livable design framework and conception orientation of the residential district,analyzes the four specific methods for livable planning of the residential district.Part VI: takes the new petroleum city project in Renqiu as the design practice,demonstrates the rationality and scientificity of the design method from many aspects such as layout and planning of land use,spacial form planning of the residence,green land system planning,transportation system planning,public service facility planning and landscape planning.Part VI: gets the conclusion and puts forward new prospect and thinking orientation for the livable residential district planning mode.
