Livable Landscape Design In The Elderly Community

In the context of the elderly population increasing,the way to old-age securityof famili es face significant challenges. The "livable" concept into the landscape design, the construction of a major user groups in the elderly community as elderly care places, can effectively alleviate the difficult problem of China's pension,this is a new pension model,in this mode,the old people can live in the familiar under the environment of the pension to the elderly. Therefore,how to increase the life level and outdoor environment will be an important project.With the development and improvement of people's living standard of the society,To improve the quality of life of the elderly is very anxious.the elderly are also pursuing the taste and quality of life of the existing apartments for the elderly can no longer meet the service needs of different levels of older age.the innovation of such design are as follows is to change the past can only be a single institution endowment and home care model of a single pension Re-designing the general outdoor landscape into the one with several'pension' functions.The paper,with the methods of questionnaire and document research,New forms of community model is more suitable for China's national conditions.groups the significance of this study aimed at building expertise personalized for the elderly, and provides full-service health care, culture, entertainment, and domestic care to conform to the elderly, multiple pension needs of older apartments.This paper mainly through the two aspects of the elderly community livable landscape design research: Firstly, based on the physical and mental characteristics for the elderly,as well as different types of outdoor activities and other principles, this study will propose such characteristics and requirements of the elderly as the initiatives and guiding principles for the landscape design;The so-calle "Humanization design and barrier-free design "will be introduced to create the easily recognizable, controllable and accessible outdoor spaces integrated with various barrier-free facilities.Secondly, the concept of"retirement community for the elderly" will be introduced based on the living environment for the elderly in China.By analyzing various case studies from foreign countries and conducting domestic field research, this study will absorb the successful experience from the comparison of different cases to explore a suitable living landscape for the elderly,create the safe, convenient, comfortable and friendly outdoor living environment,It is important to community landscape design.
