As the main interact interface for fight pilot when performing tasks,the HMDs(Helmet Mounted Display System)has been studied on for a long period by all countries which have high performance fight.As well,the mature technology and the obvious advantages make it quite popular for those pilots performing complex and diverse missions.With large amount of information to accept and deal with,it's important to have a effective interface when driving a fight.As learned form papers and essays,the studies on HMDs conduct in China are mostly concentrated on the designing of the hardware and the improving of the focused technologies,without enough studies on the interface.And what's more seriously ignored is how to lower the cognitive load of the HMDs interface by applying dynamic design.My study concentrated on the solving of Space orientation disorder and operation error problem,which is focused on during the analyses of the cognitive load of HMDs interface.And then,the methods and principles of applying the dynamic design during the interface design of HMDs.With a effective and positive testing performance,the design project from the methods and principles above is successful.The study has tried a new way of HMDs interface design and lowing the cognitive load,and would be referential by other people interested in this field.
