With the development of interactive technolo gy,the subway digital self-service ticketing interface becomes more frequent and important in our daily life.Meanwhile the traffic route network presented by the interactive technology also become more huge and complex,while enjoying the conveniences of science and technology,the passengers also feared about the interaction of digital interface.Nowadays,the subway map which is presented in the interface of subway self-service ticketing is over concentration on the technical aspects of the design method,ignored the cognitive factors of passengers.Therefore,it is significant to explore the regular of the ergonomic cognitive theory of subway maps,and it is very important to improve the design level of subway ticketing interface.In the past,researches of interface interaction was mainly focused on the versatility of the device,and most of them was qualitative.Most of all,the conclusion of the research has some shortcomings in practical application.Therefore,in our study,based on the analyzing of the design process of metro line schematic,we try to test the influence of the difference of line characteristics on the user interaction performances.According to the cognitive load theory,we try to explore the interactive strategy presented by interface grading.And we proposed the approximate estimation method of the critical load overload point.The first experiment showed that the influence of different route shapes on interactive performance is different to the different numbers of lines.Two lines of the network is the main radial shape,the performance of the radial lines in the three lines is higher,and the grid lines in four lines is better.Furthermore,in different line forms,with the number of lines increased the reaction time for the subjects increased and the performance declined.The second experiment showed that the critical point of cognitive overload can be estimated by regression analysis.The level of cognitive load and the level of interactive performance show an approximate cubic function,under the radial network morphology.And when the number of single presented lines is about 5,the cognitive overload reaches the critical point.In addition,the number of lines and cognitive load is strong linear positive correlation..When other variables are controlled,the level of the cognitive load can be approximately estimated by the number of lines.To determine the evaluation index of performance,this research indicated that there is an approximate logarithmic function relationship between the response time and the correct rate,and the reaction time is more sensitivity to the performance of the cognitive performance rather than the correct rate.Finally,this study provided a method for designers of metro line schematics based on cognitive characteristics,and proposed a line graded presentation mode for metro self-service ticketing interface designers based on cognitive load.
