| The church school is a school founded and controlled by Christianity.It first appeared in medieval Europe and was introduced to China after the Opium War.It broke through the traditional Chinese education mode and produced the church school architecture in modern times.The Beijing-Tianjin region is deeply influenced by traditional Chinese educational thoughts and architectural forms.Therefore,the introduction of church schools has had a huge impact on the traditional architectural forms of the Beijing-Tianjin region.Among them,the American church schools have the largest and largest scale in the Beijing-Tianjin region.The most influential,so this article takes the American church school building in Beijing and Tianjin as the research object.This paper comprehensively analyzes the characteristics of American church schools in the Beijing-Tianjin area in terms of campus planning and architectural monoliths by mining literature and field research methods,summarizing the design rules.It also provides reference for the protection and utilization of the existing historical buildings of American church schools in Beijing and Tianjin.Through the compilation and field research of historical data,this paper takes "American Church School Buildings in Beijing and Tianjin" as the main research object,which is divided into four parts:The first part studies the history of the American church schools in Beijing and Tianjin.Starting from the macro background of modern Christian communication in the Beijing-Tianjin region,sorting out the development and construction of the American Church in the Beijing-Tianjin region,explaining the historical background of the church school and the development and status quo of the church school from the rise to the decline.The second part analyzes the campus planning of American church schools in Beijing and Tianjin.Through sorting out and analyzing historical materials and combining with the social conditions at that time,this paper analyzes the location selection and overall layout of missionary schools,summarizes their planning and design concepts,and enumerates typical cases.The third part analyzes the design characteristics of the plane design and elevation modeling of the monomer building in the campus in the historical development process,and summarizes its detailed characteristics,and summarizes the design concept of monomer building.The fourth part,combined with the above description of the history,campus planning and monomer building of American missionary schools in Beijing and Tianjin,analyzes the preservation status of historical buildings of missionary schools,summarizes the causes of their current status,and puts forward specific Suggestions for protection and utilization based on the preservation status.Throughout the full text,the church school is a special product in the modern history of China,and its campus planning and architectural forms promotes the modernization of school construction.This paper hopes that by studying the history,campus planning and architectural monomer of American church schools in Beijing and Tianjin,people can re-understand this special type of building and deeply understand its architectural value,so as to make the campus with historical and cultural accumulation sustainable development. |
