Investigation On The Protection For The Remains Of Modern Church Buildings In Ruji Hospital,Huimin County

Church medical architecture is an important part of modern western architecture in China,and it is the beginning of Chinese public medical architecture design.With the development of modern missionary cause in China,church medical buildings,as living and working places for missionaries,began to be widely constructed in all parts of China.Compared with other types of modern western architecture,church medical architecture has the characteristics of wide distribution,large influence area,inheriting the spirit of fraternity,connecting Chinese and western hospital culture.As the originator of modern Chinese medical architecture design,church hospital has a profound impact on the development of modern Chinese medical architecture.This paper selects Ruji Hospital of Huimin County in northern Shandong Province as the carrier to record and reflect the history and culture of medical architecture,which plays a unique role in inheriting culture,architecture and medicine.In this paper,the author collected the literature about the regional characteristics of the spread of modern Western church in Shandong,and investigated several church medical buildings in Shandong Province.Through the collation and comparison of the data,the author summarized the characteristics of modern church medical buildings in Shandong Province.The case of Ruji hospital in Huimin County was analyzed,and the construction characteristics and history of Ruji hospital in different periods were analyzed Through field investigation and evidence collection,this paper summarizes the building use of Ruji hospital in Huimin County in different periods.Six buildings in the park of Ruji hospital in Huimin County,such as gable building,pastor building,bungalow,Dean building and church,were used to draw the plane and elevation drawings of the buildings by means of field survey,investigation and data collection,and summarized the site selection advantages,architectural features,architectural details and design highlights of Ruji hospital in Huimin County.Based on the previous research,mapping and analysis,this paper makes a value judgment of Ruji hospital in Huimin County from the perspective of history,culture,art and architectural science,reflects on the improper use and damage of Ruji hospital Park,and puts forward protection strategies for the planning and remaining buildings of Ruji hospital park;according to the use of Ruji hospital park at the present stage,this paper puts forward some suggestions for the protection of Ruji hospital park This paper discusses the restrictive factors of hospital reuse,designs and puts forward corresponding reuse solutions,hoping to provide reference for the development and protection of church medical buildings.
