The gradual integration of China’s equipment manufacturing industry into the international industrial division of labor has brought new opportunities for the development of equipment manufacturing industry in China.Hunan is located in the central part of the central region,and the economic development is largely due to the rapid development of equipment manufacturing industry.Water as an important mode of transportation,due to its low energy consumption,low price,high capacity of comparative advantage,provide social services and operation of the power,have the feature of natural permeability;The status of the equipment manufacturing industry in the national economy growing,the artery of water transportation equipment manufacturing industry is the transport,promote industrial upgrading of equipment manufacturing industry,and the equipment manufacturing industry is the basis for the development of water transportation support strength,makes the water allocation of resources to be able to play.If the development of water transportation lags behind the development of equipment manufacturing,the water transportation will not be able to meet the demand of the elements of the equipment manufacturing industry and hinder the normal operation of the economy.However,the development of equipment manufacturing industry lags behind the development of water transportation,which can lead to the lack of guarantee for infrastructure construction.The water transportation cannot be scaled up and modernized,which hinders the normal operation of material production.In recent years,Hunan equipment manufacturing industry has been developing well,and the new positioning of "one belt one" strategy has brought Hunan water transportation to a new height.But due to a lack of technological innovation value chain is not high has restricted the water transportation and the equipment manufacturing industry fusion depth,the equipment manufacturing industry cluster development is insufficient water scale development,makes the overall level of economic efficiency is not high in Hunan.Therefore,it is of great significance to promote the transformation and upgrading of Hunan equipment manufacturing industry and the coordinated development of water transport,and to develop and extend the high-end value chain.Water transportation development and the equipment manufacturing industry is gray,the relationship between various factors,therefore,this paper by reviewing the related literature at home and abroad,from the theoretical basis for further to explore the interaction mechanism of water transportation and the equipment manufacturing industry,the selection of Hunan province province from 2005 to 2016,a total of 12 years of traffic data and the equipment manufacturing industry related data,to establish Hunan province water coupling coordination degree model and the equipment manufacturing industry,qualitative quantitative analysis of the two coupling coordination degree,Hunan province water transportation and the existing problems in the development of equipment manufacturing industry is not coordinate with reason,and it is concluded that the container throughput in the largest contribution to the development of water transportation,the index of investment in fixed assets contribution to the development of equipment manufacturing industry is the largest.Further analysis of Hunan province in 2009-2011,the comprehensive index of water transport development was lower than that of equipment manufacturing,and the water transportation was lagging.Water transportation,the equipment manufacturing industry in Hunan province in 2005-2016 system has experienced a moderate coordination to the phase shift of highly coordinated system coupling coordination degree has experienced growth,decline four stages,rapid growth,slow growth of change;Finally,according to the results of the empirical analysis,this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions for the coordinated development of Hunan province water transportation and equipment manufacturing industry.
