Innovation is the driving force for long-term economic development.General Secretary Xi Jinping has proposed that China’s economic development should be transformed from factor-driven and investment-driven to innovation-driven.China is encouraging technological innovation in various industries through various policies and measures.Throughout the world,many countries have re-recognized the important role of industry and manufacturing in national economic development.Developed countries such as Europe and the United States have put forward plans to revitalize industry,paying particular attention to strategic emerging industries such as high-end equipment manufacturing.China has put forward the "Made in China 2025" strategy to accelerate the development of high-end equipment manufacturing.Then,how about the innovation ability of China’s high-tech equipment manufacturing industry? Does innovation have a significant impact on the performance of high-end equipment manufacturing industry? Is there any difference in its impact on different industries? The clarification of these problems is of great significance to further promote the innovation capability of China’s high-tech equipment manufacturing industry.Therefore,this paper takes "Research on the impact of innovation capability on the performance of high-end equipment manufacturing industry" as the research topic,and studies the specific path to improve the innovation and development of China’s high-end equipment manufacturing industry in depth,in order to promote the theoretical and empirical research on the development of China’s high-end equipment manufacturing industry.Based on literature review at home and abroad,the definition of the equipment manufacturing industry of new and high technology and theory of mechanism research,the policy environment of the equipment manufacturing industry of new and high technology,dynamic,problems and development trends for comb,and based on shift-share method for different output value of the high and new technology industry structure and a comparative study on growth performance,Then,the paper evaluates the industrial performance of 31 provinces and cities in China,and makes a comparative study of the innovation capacity of each province by using the comprehensive evaluation method,and makes a regression analysis of the impact of China’s innovation capacity on the performance of high-end equipment manufacturing industry by using panel data model.At the same time,based on the perspective of collaborative development,taking the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Economic circle as an example,this paper focuses on the analysis of the development of high-tech equipment manufacturing industry in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei,and proposes a collaborative development model that can be extended to other economic regions.Through the above research,the main conclusions of this paper are as follows:technological innovation,market concentration,ownership structure,environmental regulation and the development of related and supporting industries will affect the performance of high-end equipment manufacturing industry;The industrial layout of China’s high-end equipment manufacturing industry gradually evolves from the characteristic of "south to east" to the characteristic of "north to west".At present,the development of high-end equipment manufacturing industry in China has disadvantages such as small company scale,low product quality,large technology gap,independent innovation ability to be improved,financing difficulties,etc.In the development of high-end equipment manufacturing industry in various regions,the industrial structure and competitive advantage are not completely consistent with the actual growth.Innovation ability has a positive impact on the development of the four subsectors of high-end equipment manufacturing industry.Strengthening the coordinated development of high-end equipment manufacturing industry is an important way to promote the high-quality development of High-end equipment manufacturing industry in China.The main innovations of this paper are as follows: First,it conducts multi-dimensional comparative analysis and comparative research on innovation capability of China’s high-end equipment manufacturing industry from the perspective of subdivision industry,which provides foundation support for industrial cooperation in collaborative development.This work is somewhat innovative.The second one is a comparative study on the innovation capability of China’s high-end manufacturing industry by using multiple indicators such as scientific and technological input,output,efficiency and benefit.The third one is to construct the deviation-share empirical analysis model,taking the total deviation share as the industrial performance of high-end equipment manufacturing industry,providing a new analysis perspective for the industrial collaboration in the collaborative development of High-end equipment manufacturing industry in China.Fourth,taking the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei economic circle as an example,the collaborative development model of high-end equipment manufacturing industry that can be extended to other economic regions is proposed for China.
