Research On The Evolution Mechanism Of Courtyard House Space In The Imperial College Historical And Cultural Block

With the development of Beijing,the exploration of the protection and renewal of historic and cultural blocks is also ongoing.As an important part of the inner city of Beijing and one of the earliest 25 historic protected areas,the Imperial College historic and cultural block can be used as a microcosm of Beijing’s urban development.Beijing’s urban texture is composed of courtyard space in series with hutongs.The protection planning of Beijing Nature Reserve also regards courtyard space as the most basic unit for the protection and renewal of Beijing’s old city.This paper takes the courtyard space of the Imperial College historical and cultural block as the research object,combs its development and change process on the basis of in-depth investigation,and summarizes the evolution mechanism of its space.The paper is divided into four parts:The first part elaborates the development status and course of the historical and cultural blocks in the Imperial College,and summarizes the influencing factors of the courtyard space changes in the blocks.The second part combs the different types of courtyard space in the Imperial College historical and cultural block with the clue of time,the development focus in different periods and the corresponding spatial development mode.On the basis of the above analysis,the third part extracts the three main actors that have the greatest impact on the development and change of courtyard space in the historical and cultural blocks of the Imperial College,and makes a concrete analysis of the courtyard space under the influence of the three actors,from the morphological characteristics to the construction mode.The fourth part summarizes the general law of courtyard space development and changes in the Imperial College historical and cultural block,and puts forward suggestions for the spatial development of this type of historical and cultural blocks.The protection of historic and cultural blocks is an important part of Beijing’s urban planning at present.The relationship between development and protection,the collision between modern and traditional forms,are the focus of people’s attention.In order to better coordinate the relationship between traditional forms and modern life,and provide reference for the future development of courtyard space in the blocks,we should clarify the rules of courtyard space change in the blocks...
