The China International Garden Expo was sponsored by the National Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural development,which was the highest domestic specifications and the most influential that depended on the garden landscape as the theme,and it would be held every two years.The China International Garden Expo was the garden festival that all cities would participate in the construction,which was also a platform to promote the exchange and development of the domestic garden industry.In this paper,the 12th China(Nanning)International Garden Expo Project was taken as the research object,used the theory and technical analysis method of project risk management,such as the methods of literature analysis,case analysis,expert interviews and brainstorming,to identify the potential risk factors of work tasks in various stages of the project.Then the lists of potential risk factors of Nanning Garden Expo were established,based on this that the Delphi method and risk evaluation matrix were used to quantitatively evaluate the identified 35 potential risk factors,so the 15 key risk factors,such as the management,the technology,the economy,the nature and policy and so on,were identified.Finally,according to the results of the evaluation,we put forward prevention and control measures.This paper comprehensively summarized the risk management experience of the project during the construction cycle,and established a set of risk management theories on the construction of a comprehensive exhibition park,which could be effectively used in the construction of the project.So that it could provide the reference for the risk management of similar projects in the future.
