Research On Space Design And Theme Expression Of City Garden In China International Garden Expo

In recent years,China international garden Expo(referred to as garden Expo)has been developing rapidly in China.The holding of city garden can promote the communication and cooperation between regions,the innovation and development of urban construction,and become a part of the development of Chinese city garden and horticulture.The garden expo bears rich historical culture and regional characteristics.It is a booster to publicize the image of urban culture and a stage to display the latest garden and horticultural achievements.However,in the process of high frequency holding,the city gardens in the participating areas have appeared such phenomena as space similarity,regional element repetition and theme generalization in the garden held in different regions,which have been unable to meet the growing spiritual needs of tourists and have restricted the construction and development of future urban exhibition parks.Therefore,the space design and theme expression of the city garden is worth to research and in-depth discussion.From the perspective of space design and theme expression,this thesis studies 135 city gardens in the 8th China(Chongqing)international city garden,the 9th China(Beijing)international city garden and the 10 th China(Wuhan)international city garden.This paper analyzes the generation,development and functional characteristics of China garden expo and urban exhibition park,as well as the spatial combination and components,cultural theme and spatial design expression of urban exhibition park in detail,Through the space combination(tandem,centralized,round type,radiation type,freestyle,radiation surrounding type,tandem centralized,double round type,three basic space combination),space sequence(line,ring type,round type,radiant,branching type),unit space(entrance space,the leading edge of exhibition space,open space,space),spatial elements(plants,building structure,pavement,water)four levels of research and analysis on the theme expression research.Summarizing the characteristics and current problems of space design and theme expression,Systematically analyze thedesign methods of city gardens space and theme expression from the macro level to the micro level,and obtain the following research conclusions:In order to highlight the thematic cultural characteristics,urban spirit and promote the image of the city,four design principles are proposed for the thematic cultural design of city garden space.Including the construction of integrated landscape,following the principle of integrity;Meeting the theme and space design fit,following the theme principle;Creating visual aesthetic feeling,following the aesthetic principle;Meeting the needs of use,following the principle of humanization.In order to construct theme-rich city garden space,from the perspective of city garden space design and theme expression,this thesis puts forward the ways to express theme-culture of city garden space from different levels,so as to provide reference for future urban exhibition garden design.(1)In the expression of the theme of space combination,the theme culture and cultural elements should be effectively extracted to guide the space combination of city garden;Through matching the intrinsic characteristics of the theme with the characteristics of spatial combination,the corresponding expression relationship between the theme and spatial combination is obtained.(2)In terms of the theme expression of the spatial sequence,the location of the climax landscape space should be reasonably arranged,and the design strategies of each spatial sequence should be put forward from the two aspects of the theme culture and space creation to strengthen the cultural expression of the spatial sequence;And flexible use of the organization of space sequence,enhance the sense of rhythm of space sequence,and form resonance with the theme expression;Landscape narrative method is used to construct the artistic conception organization of spatial sequence.(3)In terms of the expression of the theme of the unit space,the entrance space needs to strengthen the theme of iconic structures,the entrance space plays the role of cultural display and leisure,and integrates with the surrounding environment;The leading exhibition space puts forward the corresponding expression with the theme from three aspects of plane,elevation and space scale,and expands the space design method;The open space should strengthen the theme expression through the spatial elements,and reasonably arrange the viewing points to create a space for cultural communication.The edge space can effectively organize the isolation or transparency of the space according to the theme difference with the neighboring exhibition garden,and enrich the cultural expression of the edge space design.(4)In terms of the expression of the theme of spatial elements and the selection of plants,the symbolic significance of plants should be fully explored,and the construction of plants and the expression of the theme should also be emphasized.In pavement and theme expression,the regional and characteristic characteristics of material texture are fully explored,and the urban culture is expressed by means of Yin engraving,etc.The pavement design plays a guiding role in space and strengthens the expression of the theme.In the expression of the structure and the theme,the cultural characteristics of the structure are strengthened and the expression forms are enriched,the integration of the structure and the surrounding environment is strengthened,and the expression process of the theme culture is effectively completed.In the expression of water body and theme,it pays attention to the expression effect of plane form and water body dynamics on the theme,and then emphasizes the location and scale of waterscape layout.
