As an important component in the field of machine vision,industrial cameras play an important role.In order to meet the needs of practical applications,traditional industrial cameras have high cost,weak data processing interface technology and poor support of software development platform.This paper designs a CMOS industrial camera system based on FPGA,which covers both hardware and software design.At the same time,from the point of hardware and software design,its compatibility with many different sensor models is greatly improved.In this paper,the basic frame of industrial camera is analyzed in detail.After comparing several different main control chips,the image sensor FPGA chip and the external interface chip are selected.Finally.In this paper,a 20M resolution CMOS chip of Sony Company is selected as the front-end image sensor of the system.A FPGA of Xilinx Spartan-6 series is selected as the main control core of the system bottom data transmission,and the output interface selects the USB3.0 output,using Cypress CY3014 chip.In the aspect of the realization of the hardware circuit of the camera,the FPGA is used as the core component,connected to both the CMOS and the USB3.0 chip,completing all the power drive circuit design and peripheral circuit design.Rely on the flexibility of FPGA configuration to achieve the data channel and control signal channel stable transmission.In the circuit board structure planning.The circuit of the image sensing part is separated from the main control circuit and connected with the main board through the connector,which makes the same motherboard compatible with different types of sensors,which improves the generality and saves the development cost.In the part of software implementation,the main work of this paper includes:1)the FPGA program is written and debugged by using ISE Design Suite development platform.It includes receiving,parsing and buffering of image data signals with ultra-high resolution,conversion of different communication protocols,management of power signals and control signals.CMOS image sensor configuration information storage and other functions.In the aspect of program integration and optimization,the compatibility of several different types of sensors is improved,which greatly shortens the development period when developing some subsequent types of sensors.2)By using Visual Studio development platform,the software of upper computer is developed,which is used to display imaging and test camera.Finally,the whole display test of the hardware is carried out,and the expected results are obtained.
