Research On Optimization For Rural "Living-Production-Ecology" Space Of Yicheng City,Hubei Province Based On Agricultural Modernization

In the accelerating urbanization process of China,the production,living and ecology of rural space have experienced a tremendous change.For the long-term development,“production-living-ecology space” need to play their roles well and coordinate with each other,which is an important fundament for rural space function development.On the industrial point of view,engaging in agricultural production activities is a significant difference between rural and urban areas.The agricultural modernization,on the one hand,is an important mean to develop the rural economy and improve the people’s livelihood in the countryside;On the other hand,it has a great impetus to the process of urbanization in China.Based on the above background,this paper describes the relevant research in the optimization for rural “production-living-ecology space”,from the perspective of agricultural modernization.The main content of this paper is divided into four parts:The first part summarized the evolution and characteristics of “production-living-ecology space” in the rural areas in Hubei province since the reform and opening-up policy of China: Because of the sustained growth in rural residents’ internal functional requirements,and with the advances in technology and restriction from some policies,rural living space has coexistence of expansion and contraction;the rural production space experiences contraction after several year’s expansion,due to the abolishment of agricultural tax,the decrease of external demand and its own consumption,and ups and downs of township enterprises development;The security boundary and the quality of rural ecology space appears a downward and contractional trend.This study shows that the factors which affect the rural space are complicate,including nature,economy,society and policy.The change of the "production-living-ecology space" in the rural areas of Hubei Province is the result from many common factors including the natural conditions,the development of urbanization,the growth in productivity,the change in lifestyle,the adjustment of policy and so on.The second part studies the situation of agricultural modernization in Hubei Province,and shows that the agricultural modernization in Hubei Province is obviously insufficient in terms of land resources,infrastructure,technical means and high-quality laborers.Agricultural modernization also contributed to the changes in the way of production and livelihood of rural residents.The scale of rural households gradually reduced and the living standard has been greatly improved in the pursuit of material level as well as increasing spiritual needs.Residents used large-scale production model and more direct and convenient sales channels in the production process.On this basis,the author puts forward the new idea of the development of " production-living-ecology space " in Hubei Province,that is,the intensive use of living space,better allocation of facilities,large-scale land consolidation in the production space,the upgrading of industrial structure and the centralized layout of township enterprises,pollution management in ecology space and sustainable use of resources,so that the rural areas in the material space meet the requirements from the development of agricultural modernization,and adapt to changes in the production and lifestyle of rural residents.The third part takes Yicheng City in Hubei Province as the key research object.By evaluating its status and level of agricultural development in Yicheng City and analyzing the relationship between the agricultural development and "production-living-ecology space ",this part summarizes the characteristics of "production-living-ecology space" in Yicheng city: The production space has problems such as land wastage and lack of infrastructure.The living space is scattered and the service facilities are lacking;The ecological space has pollution problem,the environmental carrying capacity is poor and the biodiversity is threatened.Based on the analysis results of the first three parts,the fourth part puts forward the optimization strategy for the life,production and ecology space of Yicheng city in Hubei province respectively.The production space should take land intensive management method;the living space should consolidate the residential areas and be arranged with the service facilities;ecology space needs pollution abatement and ecological sensitive elements control.Besides,three spaces need to integrate functional relationship,so that the three parts coordinate and promote each other.
