Development of urban living environment has always been the mainstream of social development,but it is always accompanied by huge pressure on resources and energy waste,because of its linear metabolic system.In 2005,the construction of new countryside proposed,rural living environment construction began to get attention.But due to the lack of theory research and practice,the rural residential environment improved generally applied to the urban pattern.The different characteristics between urban and rural, and the drawbacks of urban development pattern determines the inadaptability and unsustainable of this way.Agriculture is the foundation of rural development,and also is an important factor in the development of rural living environment that can not be ignored.Therefore, regard agriculture as a key element in rural living environment, organic link rural agricultural production, living and ecology,construct rural green residential unit with"production, living and ecology" is helpful to solve the fundamental problem of rural development.Through the metabolic perspective,according to the field research of typical rural settlements in Shandong province,including the present situation, metabolism model, unit scale, space form and so on,this paper is to summarize the rural residential type of Shandong province,then analyze the comprehensive evaluation,puts forward the system transformation pattern with metabolic optimization and spatial integration,which can support the construction of the "production,living and ecology" green countryside research.The full text is divided into six chapters.First chapter is introduction, mainly elaborated the subject source,the research background,and mainly related theory and the current situation,analyzed the research contents,purpose,significance,and research framework and method.The second chapter, the understanding of the rural residential environment framework,through an overview of the concept of living environment and scientific theory, urban residential environment construction development and reflection, the basic characteristics of rural residential and living environment, rural residential environment construction practice, concluded that the possibility of rural living environment of green development and the basic three elements affecting the green development,social organization, metabolic model, space,and constructed the framework of case selection and statistical research.The third chapter,the basic situation of Shandong province and the research design,through expounding the natural geographical features,economic and social development,ecological agriculture development,and the current situation of rural human settlement environment of Shandong province, designed the research form, and then find the related documents, data, etc, finally established a research in 44 cases.The Fourth chapter, case study and type analysis,detailed analyzed the social organization pattern, metabolic pattern and spatial elements of rural residential area in Shandong,summarized the types of rural residential,comprehensive evaluated the cases, and then put forward the types of rural residential in Shandong province.
