With the accelerated process of urbanization in Wuhan, more and more people will be poured into the city, how to adapt to the high density of the population on a limited land becomes a problem that can not be ignored.Hanzheng Street is now facing the same problem,In a new round of development and construction, more intensive buildings will continue to appear in this land.In a rationally planned building, although its original intention is to bring a better business environment, but ignore the user’s request for planning guidance for space use and did not bring the desired results.Faced with these problems,in order to explore the spatial characteristics of Hanzheng Street, for the future development and construction of Hanzheng Street to consider more space needs. This paper explores the Jinchang Building with the characteristics of the spatial use of representative buildings as a case study. In the case study, the article takes the use of space as the main body, and takes the micro vertical city as the angle of the study of Jinchang building space, and summarizes it into practical research and graphic analysis. The spatial classification of Jinchang Building is carried out through the different activities of people, and the use of each activity space of residents is analyzed, and the special spatial characteristics of Jinchang Building are analyzed and the reasons are explored. Finally, the activities of the residents are used as clues to explore the complicated space So as to obtain the characteristics and causes of the space-use association system in Jinchang Building.Based on the research on the spatial characteristics and spatial correlation of Jinchang Building, this paper draws the spatial characteristics of Jinchang Building as a micro vertical city, and puts forward some suggestions on the spatial design of commercial and residential buildings in the future development and construction.
