Study On The Architectural Forms Of Temple Of Ancient Monarchs In Zhong Du Capital Of The Ming Dynasty

The Temple of Ancient Monarchs in Zhongdu captial of Ming Dynasty was founded in November of Hongwu six year which is located in Fenglefang,southwest of the imerial city.It was the the places where emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped the wise emperors and meritorious aubordinates each dynasties.In history,the worship and sacrifice of the emperors and the ancestors of the ancient times have a long history,but setting in one temple begins at the beginning of the Ming dynasty.The Temple of Ancient Monarchss in Nanjing,Fengyang and Beijing were built in an order.They are the royal temples in the captials.From the perspective of time,Nanjing imerial temple is the earliest and Fengyang Temple of Ancient Monarchs was found soon later.After Yong-le emperor moving the captial to Beijing,the Temple of Ancient Monarchs of Beijing was built until Jia-jing period.As the unique Temple of Ancient Monarchs,there are many researches of Beijing Temple of Ancient Monarchs have been made by experts and scholars,however scholars have never studied the Temple of Ancient Monarchs in Zhongdu captial.Firstly,the thesis sorts out the evolution of the royal family sacrificial system in our country and the history of three Temple of Ancient Monarchss in Ming dynasty.The importance of comprehensive study on the Temple of Ancient Monarchs in Ming dynasty was clarified.Secondly,based on the field researches and access to historical data,the thesis systematically analyzes the relationship between the Temple of Ancient Monarchs and the city in the early Ming dynasty,and the relation with other sacrificial buildings by the study of the layout of the Temple of Ancient Monarchs in the early Ming dynasty.Thridly,this themsis focuses on the function composition,space form and streamline organization of the Temple of Ancient Monarchs in the Ming dynasty.And the general plan of the Temple of Ancient Monarchs in the Ming dynasty has been put forward.Lastly,using the main hall of Temple of Ancient Monarchs in the Ming dynasty as an example,the thesis analyzes the main hall in the perspective of plan,elevation,section,Dou-gong and so on.The decoration practice of the main hall is studied in the aspects of doors,windows,colour painting,coloured galze,etc.According to the above research,the research and restoration design of Temple of Ancient Monarchs' s m Chongshen hall in Zhongdu captial of Ming Dynasty has been carried out.
