A Comparative Study Of The Architectural Forms Of Ancestral Halls In Yunnan And Fujian In The Context Of Immigration

In recent years,the central and local governments have successively introduced relevant policies and attached great importance to the protection and inheritance of traditional Chinese culture.Ancestral hall is an important carrier of traditional Chinese culture,and it is also an important testimony of Chinese clan culture inherited from the ancient times.The comparative study of the buildings of the two cities can excavate the historical culture carried by the ancestral halls.It can also pass on the excellent folk construction techniques of Yunnan and Fujian,and has certain academic significance in terms of architecture and history.This thesis starts with combing the relevant documents of ancestral hall,mainly referring to various local records,genealogies,village histories,inscriptions,interviews,historical maps,etc.,and combining the mapping of more than ten villages and more than two dozen ancestors to make the following research: The ancestral hall culture traces its origins,verifies the history of the development and evolution of the ancestral halls of the two places,and its temporal and spatial distribution characteristics are closely related to the immigration process;a systematic analysis of the ancestral hall forms and rheological changes of the two places concludes that the ancestral halls were shaped by the Chinese tradition.Influence of clan culture and regional architectural culture;comparison of ancestral halls in the two places and comparative study on the building form,and found that the buildings of the two places retain their local architectural tradition in terms of site selection,layout space,main frame,and architectural decoration.The characteristics of similarities and differences between the buildings of Fujian and Yunnan were analyzed and the commonalities and differences were found.Through comparative studies,the characteristics of the architectural forms of the two buildings were summarized,which reflected the similarities in cultural inheritance between the two buildings and the geographical adaptability of the buildings.This will help in-depth interpretation of the historical value of ancestral hall and help promote the inheritance and promotion of the geographical features of the inherited buildings.
