At present,with the rapid development of China’s economy and the acceleration of urbanization,the annual amount of urban construction has also gradually increased,but the consequent shortage of resources and environmental pollution have also become increasingly prominent.As one of the country’s pillar industries,the construction industry,while raising the economic level of our country,has also caused the waste of resources and environmental pollution due to its huge construction volume,which is contrary to the sustainable and healthy development of China’s economy.The main reason is because the construction industry in China is still adopting a relatively traditional construction method.In order to maintain the healthy development of China’s economy,resources,and environment,the country vigorously promotes the industrialization process of the construction industry."Standardization design,factory production,assembly construction,integrated decoration,information management and intelligent application" are the main characteristics of industrialization of buildings.Compared with the traditional production methods,industrialized production methods can effectively reduce the waste of resources and Environmental pollution.As a method of industrialization of building construction,prefabricated buildings have received general support from the state in recent years.At the same time,the rapid development of information technology has helped the construction industry.The emergence of Computer Aided Design(CAD)technology has brought about the first revolution in the construction industry,but it is difficult to satisfy the prefabricated architecture based on traditional two-dimensional drawing methods.” "Standardization,integration,refinement" and other requirements.In recent years,the emergence of Building Information Modeling(BIM)technology has provided new opportunities for prefabricated buildings.BIM technology meets the “five-in-one” requirements of assembly-based architectural design,production,construction,decoration and management due to its visualization,coordination,simulation,and full life cycle.However,at present,the development of the two in China is still at an exploratory stage.It is a very worthwhile research topic on how to use BIM technology to advance the development process of prefabricated buildings.Based on the in-depth study of the basic theories and applications of BIM technology and prefabricated buildings,this paper takes BIM technology as a method and assembly-building as the object,and proposes the application method of BIM technology in the prefabricated architectural design stage.While promoting the development of prefabricated buildings,the development direction of BIM technology will be extended.The full text is divided into five parts and six chapters.The introduction is the first part.Through the analysis of the research status,it points out the advancement of China’s building industrialization and the rise and rapid development of BIM technology.As a research background,the research direction is determined.The second chapter is the second part.After consulting a large amount of literature data,the author summarizes the development history,characteristics,and development obstacles of BIM technology and prefabricated buildings.Through the case study,he finds that BIM technology is currently The problems and deficiencies in the process of building application.The third part includes the third chapter and the fourth chapter,proposes the solution method based on the BIM technology for the difficult design point of the assembly type building,and according to its design flow,has elaborated the BIM application method in each stage of the design.The fifth chapter is the fourth part.Taking a targeted resettlement housing project in Beijing as an example,it demonstrates the specific operation method of using BIM technology to guide assembly building design,and demonstrates the feasibility and value of this research.The sixth chapter is the fifth part,summarizing the research conclusions of the full text,tracing back the research content of the full text,summarizing the research results and shortcomings,and pointing out the future development research direction.
