Since entering the 21 st century,with the rapid development and updating of the economy and technology,traditional industry has gradually fallen and the centre of industrial structure is constantly adapting,resulting in many inactive or even abandoned factories.They are the legacy of the slow and slow development of the sand.How to use these sheltered factories,make full use of the surrounding social resources and promote sustainable development in the region is to adapt the transformation building to the development of modern society and to respond to gr e en sustainable development,which is the problem explored in this paper.This article analyses the possibility of reusing old industrial buildings,discusses the role that BIM technology can play in the design of old industrial renovation,discusses the adaptability to old industrial buildings and discusses the role that BIM can play in the reconstruction of old industrial buildings..Since the concept of BIM appeared in China,it has been slowly developed for nearly two decades.With the increase in the promotion and use of BIM technology,China has already had many successful breakthrough projects.Therefore,the value of BIM technology is gradually recognized by the construction market.In the construction field,BIM technology is not a specific software or software type.It is an information method that enables engineering technicians to collect,store and use various useful information,analyze and manage these information,promote the transformation and modernization of the construction industry and improve the core competitiveness of enterprises.Although BIM Technology has been used in China and some achievements have been achieved,the use of BIM technology in structural transformation is still in the investigation period,particularly in practice there are still many problems and obstacles.The research content can be summarised in three aspects: the use of BIM technology for the reconstruction and design of old industrial buildings(1)BIM technology is used in design.Due to the serious damage to the old industrial buildings,there are very preliminary research work on the original building,information is complicated during the renovation and design process,and inter-professionals are difficult to communicate with each other,and data exchange barriers in the analysis and simulation.This topic uses information sharing on several BIM technology platforms to realise information transformation and design.(2)The biggest advantage of BIM platform is the real-time sharing of information and cooperation among the specialties.It is of practical significance to optimize the design process and improve the design efficiency.This paper implements the comprehensive transformation project of the structure,equipment and energy saving optimization of the in use building.BIM Technology is applied to the whole industrial building transformation process,and the comprehensive transformation design is implemented on the basis of Autodesk Revit platform.Through the research of architecture,structure,process equipment and other disciplines,the information sharing is realized,and the reconstruction design of structure,indoor space and site environment is optimized under BIM 3D visual model.(3)The use of BIM Technology is helpful to the green transformation of buildings.Green buildings need to process a lot of information,and many simulation such as lighting,ventilation and energy saving are needed to judge the building performance.BIM Technology platform has strong information processing ability,and also has many related simulation platforms to evaluate the comprehensive performance of buildings,so as to create the conditions for use in green buildings.This Article uses BIM technology for actual industrial building renovation projects in order to fully exploit the benefits of information technology.BIM technology can optimise design and realise intelligent operation and maintenance and sustainable management,promote green renovation of old industrial buildings and has great potential to promote the development and innovation of green buildings.In this paper,through research and discussion of the methods and methods of old industrial renovation designs,which summarise the difficulties encountered,combined with BIM technology and research into methods and strategies for green transformation of old industrial buildings in the future through information technology.
