Abstract/Summary:
With the requirements of modern construction industry globalization, urbanization and sustainable development, we are faced with multiple challenges such as construction efficiency, construction, information technology issues, architectural style and functionally complex problems. In the architectural industry, two-dimensional architectural collaborative design has completely failed adapting to this challenge, while BIM Building Information Modeling, as a new thing, provides a new platform for the architectural collaborative design work.This paper first proposes three requirements the current social development makes for the construction industry and the challenge of four kinds of problems the construction industry faces. This article introduces the related theory, the concept and features of architecture collaborative design, the definition and features of BIM, and the interoperability of software and architectural design information. In the face of domestic and international application and research situation of BIM, this study proposes the application and research of a specific BIM collaboration project design, and hopefully works as an example or a reference for the BIM application and promotion in the architecture institute.From the second chapter, the paper introduces the background of a building project and difficulties in the project design, analyzes problems work project design faced in the work state of a two-dimensional architectural design, efficiency and design quality, profession and professional coordination, project design phase of convergence, traditional2D pipelines comprehensive, and specifies reasons why BIM collaboration design should be adopted.Then from point of view of the architectural profession, the structure profession and equipment profession, the paper analyzes technical difficulties of the BIM software, makes a comparison between the contents BIM collaborative design aspects involved in the program phase and the construction phase, and summarizes the point to start in the BIM collaborative design of this project.The following is an introduction of two operating modes of BIM collaboration-working set mode and link mode, and an analysis of the difference between the two modes. Then the paper compares the advantages and disadvantages of the working set mode and linked mode. In accordance with the principle of Project Splitting and collaborative projects mode selection. Thus a project splitting and BIM collaborative design mode is summed up. Finally, in the application and the implementation of the project, the paper’s focus is on the analysis of BIM application preparation, control over model design degree, collision detection and quality control, applicability of BIM for the project. Then the main advantages and problems raised in the project are summarized, and the proposals are put forward:to make enterprise-class design standards, to change the designer’s design ideas and methods, to combine the use of CAD and REVIT, and to strengthen the design staff training.
