Research On Design Of Modules Of Community-based Old-age Care Based On POE

In the 21 st century,the rapid aging of the population has become a common problem facing the world,and our country,as the world's largest population,is facing a more serious situation.Based on the pattern of community-based old-age care,the usage of the elderly facilities in community already built are explored through POE from all aspects of the researchers,users,operators and designers.Modules of community-based old-age care,put forword as a design procedure through analyzing the applicability of the present situation of the environment.Firstly,the background,purpose,significance and main frame of the research are introduced to draw forth the design of modules of community-based old-age care based on POE as a new method and new idea.Then,from the connotation of communitybased old-age care,the elderly facilities in community is introduced as its space carrier.The development trends in the construction of the elderly facilities in community are discovered through summarizing excellent cases.At the same time,the paper summarizes the different functional spaces in the facilities,which serves as the theoretical basis for the extraction of modules.POE is the methodology of this paper to study the elderly facilities in community.The four cases of Changzhou 369 pension industry group are analyzed through indicative POE and investigative POE.Combining the analysis of quantitative and qualitative datas,the applicability of the present situation of the environment is explored from three evaluation indicator elements,such as the performance of technic,function and behavior,which provides the reality basis for the design of modules of community-based old-age care in the next chapter.Finally,the concepts of modules of community-based old-age care are put forward through explaining the method of extraction and classification,summarized as eight functional modules of old-age care,such as accommodation,living,repast,bathing,medical care,rehabilitation nursing,office and rear-service,each functional module corresponds to different modules.The key points in the design of modules are summarized on the basis of the evaluation about the spatial layout,configuration model and details.According to the different construction scales and operation modes,these modules are divided into two modes: mandatory and optional.This design procedure provides a new idea for the construction and configuration of the elderly facilities in community.
