With the development of building assembly,industrialization and informatization,a new mode of architectural design and construction begins to become a future trend.And now,the national fitness cause of our country grows vigorously,but the national fitness halls are lacked.Under the background of this society,how to adapt the design of national fitness halls to the present mode of building industrial construction which is fast,green and high quality is a subject worthy of further study.Based on the above thinking,this paper combines BIM technology and modular design strategies to form the BIM-modular design system.Then,this paper put the national fitness halls as the research object and analyses the space modulus,module partition,module building as well as some applications during architectural design phase in the BIM Platform.Firstly,this article elaborates the modular architecture design theory and the attribute characteristics of BIM technology based on the data from literature study and investigation.Then,it puts forward to combine these two theory would promote the characteristics of the modular design method with parametric and informatization and the functions of optimization,feedback,and information statistics.On the basis of above elaboration,this paper analyzes space modulus and functions briefly and sets up the BIM-modular design system.After that,the third chapter analyzes the division of the national fitness halls unit module,the parameterized construction,information integration,module combination layout optimization and the module combination mode through the software including Revit,Dynamo,Rhino and Grasshopper.Finally,the fourth chapter analyses a case which contains the construction process during the architecture design of a national fitness hall in BIM platform,aims to displays advantages and key points of application for national fitness halls` design.These analyses contains three parts which are volume model building during the conceptual design phase,deepening design and output of informatization.This paper combines modular design methodology and BIM technology which is needs to be introduced and popularized application in the present construction industry,to form a design system which meets the national fitness halls` needs of fast and high quality construction and contains the functions of assembly,industrialization and informatization.The main achievements of this paper is to analyzes some applications of modular national fitness halls during architectural design process on the BIM platform,which provides some reference for design and assembly constructions of modular national fitness halls.
