In recent years,the construction of traffic engineering in China has been carried out on a large scale,and the construction of highway and high-speed railway is increasing.Bridge engineering construction is the critical work.Bridge progress control,as the main work of construction project management,faces the pressure of time and cost.How to improve the efficiency of the construction under the limited resource condition and shorten the construction period become the important research content of the bridge construction schedule control.At present,bridge construction progress control is based on traditional network planning technology by making,implementing,monitoring and controlling network plans to realize construction progress control.However,with the general application of network planning technology,some system problems in network planning technology arise,becoming the "persistent disease" in the project schedule control.Until the Critical chain method are proposed and applied to the project management field,some inherent shortcomings of network planning technology have been overcome.The Critical chain method,as the major upgrade of network planning technology,are applied to the construction of bridges,which will produce great benefits.Taking Qingmei Bridge in Mudanjiang River as an example,this paper studies the application of Critical chain method in bridge construction progress control.First of all,the problems encountered in the construction progress control process of Qingmei Bridge in Mudanjiang River are studied,and the reasons for the problems such as the lack of progress control work and the technical defects of network planning are summarized.Then the Critical chain schedule control model is established by analyzing the Critical chain management elements,formulating the Critical chain schedule control process,determining the calculation method of the Critical chain time parameter,and establishing the Critical chain schedule control system.The Critical chain schedule plan and the Critical chain schedule control scheme of Qingmei Bridge in Mudanjiang are established by using the Critical chain schedule control model.It also puts forward some suggestions such as establishing the Critical chain schedule control system,establishing the Critical chain organization and management system,and perfecting the Critical chain schedule management measures.Finally,the paper summarizes and analyzes the progress control results of the Critical chain of Qingmei Bridge in Mudanjiang River,and draws the conclusion that the Critical chain method can improve the construction progress control ability of the bridge.In this paper,the Critical chain method is applied to the construction of bridge engineering,and the application steps and methods of the Critical chain method are put forward,which can be some reference significance for the construction schedule control of the same type engineering.
