China's construction market is vigorously promoting the EPC general contracting model,but due to the relatively low level of information management in the construction industry,the advantages of EPC project integration and collaborative management are difficult to play.The emergence of BIM can effectively solve the problems in the integration and collaborative management of EPC projects and improve the information management level of the construction industry.This article takes the management process and organizational structure of EPC project as the research object,and combines the process reengineering theories to redesign the EPC project management process and organizational structure based on BIM,in order to promote the development of EPC mode and BIM in the construction market of our country.The main research work of this paper includes the following aspects:First,analyze the EPC theory and BIM theory,summarize the problems in EPC project management and the application advantages of BIM in EPC project management,and propose that BIM can be used to manage EPC projects.Secondly,build an EPC project management system based on BIM,design the functions and modules of each system,and design the EPC project design,procurement and construction management process.Third,analyze the process reengineering.As the center's organizational reform model,it proposes that organizational reform requires the use of information technology as the basis,builds an EPC project organizational structure model based on BIM,designs the organizational structure of the BIM team,and introduces a time-based quality entropy model as an evaluation of the organizational structure.Fourth,apply the BIM-based EPC project management system to the engineering examples,analyze the implementation of the BIM-based design,procurement,and construction management processes in the project construction process,and verify the feasibility and efficiency of the BIM-based EPC project management process.The time-effectiveness quality entropy model was used to calculate the ordering degree of the EPC project organization structure before and after the use of BIM,and to verify the high efficiency of the BIM-based EPC project organization structure.The research results of this paper can provide reference for improving the information management level of EPC project,provide basis for improving the effectiveness of EPC project management process,provide reference for improving the efficiency of EPC project organization operation,and promote the BIM and EPC modes in China's construction market.
