| The 2008 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games have played a role in promoting the construction of barrier-free facilities in Beijing.Twice "ba rrier-free city construction" working after the Olympic Games also perfecte d barrier-free facilities in Beijing.However,with the gradual arrival of the aging society,and under the target requirements of "making Beijing into a world-class harmonious and livable capital" by General Secretary Xi Jinp ing after his twice visited in Beijing,Beijing’s barrier-free environment is f acing a new challenge.Especially in the construction of barrier-free enviro nment in urban areas which is still unsatisfactory,facilities and the environ ment should be improved,the whole system should be promoted,regulator y enforcement and supervision should be advanced.In this paper,the author makes a systematic research on the compositi on,group demands and construction status of Beijing,and finds out the e xisting problems;introduces the concept of international advanced barrier-fr ee construction such as inclusiveness and universal design;compares the b arrier-free system at home and abroad;manages experience and analysis th e outstanding achievements of many countries and regions,combined with the status quo of urban blocks in Beijing to find out the gap,and put for ward a series of measures to enhance the environmental quality of urban blocks.First of all,this article takes the city block as the basic unit of the b arrier-free environment,and takes the urban design as the breakthrough poi nt,and puts forward the design points of universal design from the road s tation,the square park and the residential community respectively in the te chnical measure level.Design points to the barrier-free facilities,planning,location and path planning layout,the focus of space facilities configuratio n standards,the use of auxiliary equipment and logo display configuration were described,compared to "single and scattered" facilities standards pay more attention to "surface" of the coherence.Secondly,from the perspective of government management,this paper explores the mechanism of preliminary evaluation and management of the new and existing project planning and design of urban neighborhoods and the corresponding evaluation techniques,and effectively protects them fro m the point of view of management to reach the whole of the barrier-free environment Ascension.This paper aims to improve the barrier-free environment of urban n eighborhoods,and hope that the final conclusions can be used for the con struction of barrier-free environment in our city. |
