A Study On The Melding Of Landscape Architecture And Natural Landscape In Wutai Mountain Temple

Wutai mountain scenic area is one of the world cultural heritage,which has a very important position in the history of Buddhism in our country.The functions of the Wut ai mountain temples are not only to preach the sermon,enjoy the sightseeing,but also t he new functions of preservation of the history and culture,convening various meeting s,the recuperation cultivate one's morality.It has the characteristics of other Buddhism shrines:Anmountainnhasemanyltemples,Han Buddhism and Tibetan Buddhism coexis tence and harmonious development;It is also the major temple of manjusri bodhisattva with the manjusri temple on the main axis of Wutai mountain.So,it is of great significa nce to study the natural fusion of landscape architecture and natural landscape in wutai mountain temple.Several factors which influence the aesthetic feeling of Wutai mountain temple ga rden was analyzed firstly in this paper.And the Taihuai town temples were researched u nder the rules of space constitution.Finally,a useful layout principle or method was pro posed that can make Wutai mountain temples garden constructions and the natural scen e harmoniously develop.The principle of layout is to maintain the ecological sustainabl e development of scenic area;To coordinate the spatial relationship between the landsc ape and the exterior landscape of the temple in accordance with the law of local conditi ons.The buddhist culture of the scenic spot is reflected in the combination of temple g arden architecture and natural landscape.The method of layout is to use the change of t he mountain potential to form the spatial hierarchy with natural landscape in the templ e garden building.The transition landscape between temples and natural environment will unify architecture and landscape.Landscape architecture and mountain forest enhance buddhist artistic conception through the mutual infiltration and extension of landsc ape small products.On the premise of understanding of the status quo,emphasizes the function of the temple garden and meet the needs of visitors to the natural desire;To mo dify the scenic area construction scientifically and reasonably will make the history of the temple characteristics continuous,protect the ecological environment,harmonious t he development of man and nature.The method follows the basic configuration and local characteristics of the temple gardens.It has both the artistic conception of the buddhist garden and the aesthetic of t he modern people,which makes the temple "blend into the nature and the hidden amon g the mountains and rivers",and promote the people's spiritual world.
