| In recent years,our country has made great efforts to build the affordable housing to improve and develop people’s livelihood.On the basis of the affordable housing residential environment design in the past,the designers have always paid attention to the features concerning the general needs of the residential groups only,however,they neglect the adaptive design as well as the humanistic care for the youth,bringing about lots of problems in space use,resulting in the dehumanization of the related design.On the basis of the research background,object,goal,significance as well as method summary concerning the affordable housing residential environment design in view of the youth,the paper summarizes the characteristics of the youth in terms of their physical needs,security needs,social needs and other basic residential needs,and it also has a good understanding of the present situation and the related policies concerning the construction of the affordable housing in Xuzhon City.At the same time,the paper investigates the four affordable housing districts in Xuzhou City,and makes the field study of the youth group concerning the contemporary living environment,the scope of outdoor activities,the duration of the activities,the different preferential spatial needs,the content of the activities,the outdoor safety,the need for facilities as well as the public supporting facilities,etc.,through the interview,questionnaires,behavior records,and other research means,so as to analyze the youth’s needs for the residential housing environment.According to the results of previous field study and the concerning analysis,this paper puts forward the design strategy of affordable housing residential environment for the youth from the following five aspects: interior residential space,road traffic space,outdoor activity space,public supporting facilities as well as community humanitarian environment.The research goal of the paper is to value the needs of the youth group,provide a brand new perspective for designing the affordable housing residential environment,make up the deficiencies of the design studies in the past,further improve and perfect the residents’ multi-level needs so as to create a favorable living environment. |
