With the rapid development of information technology worldwide,various industries are facing technological innovations concerning diversification of information.In the traditional construction industry,due to the inefficiency of information communication and collaborative operations,various participants of the project have spent a lot of manpower,material,and financial resources and have caused a great waste of resources.Therefore,domestic and foreign construction industry practitioners are trying to rely on BIM technology to conduct a new industry change.BIM is an abbreviation for Building Information Model.It solves the problem of loss of construction project information by integrating all relevant information of the building model.The development of BIM technology in the bridge construction industry is relatively slow.At this stage,technical personnel at home and abroad are studying the BIM international common standards and application of specific projects.This paper is based on the application of the BIM technology in construction management of the XiaLaoXi Bridge.The main contents are as follows:1.By reviewing relevant data,the basic concept,characteristics and development status of BIM technology are summarized,and the application value and difficulties of BIM technology in bridge construction are analyzed.2.Analyze the pros and cons of various modeling softwares,select Bentley's MicroStation software to build a complete component,multi-level complete bridge model,and details various relevant details and focuses of modeling.3.Analyze the engineering design methods at the current stage,compare and research various secondary development interfaces of the MicroStation platform,use the VBA method to perform secondary development on the 2D plotting function,customize the seed file,and complete the specific drawing function and 2D delivery drawings..4.Combining with the model of MicroStation and engineering management software Navisworks,Complete a variety of project management applications including collision inspection,construction schedule management,and construction simulation.Summarize the calculation methods of various engineering quantities.At the same time complete the design of localized engineering calculation method.
