With the development of national economy and the progress of science and technology,China's civil engineering industry is booming.The construction of bridges,tunnels and high-speed railways has reached the forefront of the world in terms of scale and technology.As the degree of economic development of different countries is different,the adoption of technological means is also different.Therefore,there are different standards in the design of all kinds of structures.In order to better integrate with the world's more advanced design concepts,it is of great significance to draw the essence of foreign civil engineering design for comparative analysis of design standards both at home and abroad.Based on the above,this dissertation makes a comparative analysis of the design methods of concrete codes for nuclear related concrete in China and the United States.According to the design of China's nuclear safety related concrete structure specification "PWR nuclear power plant safety requirements related to the design of concrete structures"(NB/T 20012-2010),"design of concrete structures"(GB 50010-2010),and "the United States nuclear safety related concrete structure standards"(ACI 349-13)and "ASME boiler with the pressure vessel code part III second volume specification for concrete containment structure"(ACI 359-13),ACI 349-06 and ACI 359-13 is a standard American Concrete Institute "building on the concrete requirements" compared the nuclear power plant design of concrete structure,compared including load,material properties of concrete,steel bar,steel reinforced concrete,bending,shear,torsion,shear,eccentric compression,etc..The comparison result shows that the requirements of Chinese code and American Standard of concrete strength and the ratio of the same minimum;the measured value of yield strength and yield strength of the measured value and the ratio of yield strength is basically the same as the standard value of the longitudinal tensile strength of steel;on the lower limit of stirrup strength Chinese specification requirements,limit American Standard of stirrups is proposed the minimum width of the frame beam China requirements;specification of the slightly smaller than the American Standard,the ratio of height to width slightly larger,the same span and the United States China specification.By analyzing the difference of load,material performance and resistance design value in the code for design of concrete structures related to nuclear safety in China and America,it is helpful for us to draw lessons from and absorb advanced design methods abroad.
