In recent years,the construction of railway transportation in China has maintained the momentum of rapid development.The strategic blueprint of “One Belt,One Road ”has brought new perspectives and unprecedented opportunities to the railway transportation industry.Countries such as South Africa,Angola,Botswana,Congo,Ghana,New Zealand and Australia use the 1068 mm narrow-gauge railway.The locomotives that have been used for years are mostly from the United States.The design difficulty of narrow rail bogie is limit by the gauge.The project is based on the export of New Zealand diesel locomotive,according to relevant technical requirements,the design conforms to the internal combustion diesel locomotive bogie of New Zealand.In New Zealand,the railway was built in the last century,New Zealand has a large amount of instantaneous rainfall,there may be wading in some sections,so bogie need to consider waterproof and rust.This article starts with the source of the project,research status at home and abroad,the significance of narrow-gauge bogie.Combining domestic mature locomotive manufacturing experience,complete bogie structural design based on overall CKD9 B Narrow-Gauge Locomotive Bogie requirements.The major components of the bogie have chosen the best solution and discussed in detail.Some parts have been designed to adapt to the railway condition of New Zealand.This article makes a detail calculation of the curve performance,side-by-side position,spring and braking distance to verify that the bogie performance meets the requirements.According to relevant calculation standards,ANSYS software was used to analyze the static strength and fatigue strength performance of the frame,and the life of the bogie was evaluated using the fatigue limit design method.The results show that the static strength and fatigue strength of the frame meet the requirements,verifying the rationality of the frame design.According to the relevant standards,the static test and fatigue test of the frame has been done.Verify that the static strength and fatigue strength of the frame meet the requirements.The test results are similar to the calculation results,veritying the correctness of the calculation.The research of bogie has important reference significance for how to adapt to bad track conditions and to meet the high requirements of developed countries.
