With the " Belt & Way" was put forward in recent years,both the economy of the countries along the " Belt and Way" and its science and technology get an unprecedented development.In 2016,the MOST proposed “The 400km/h National Key R & D Project of Variable Gauge Trains” and based on its subtopic "Research on Key Technologies of train running in variable structure system"(item number:2016YFB1200501)the narrow gauge(600/1067mm)changeable bogie is researched.At present,the research of narrow gauge changeable bogies is blank in China.The research of narrow gauge changeable bogies will help to supplement the technical blank of narrow gauge changeable bogies and improve the technical strength of gauge changeable bogies in China,at the same time it has strong theoretical significance and engineering practical value.In this paper,according to the project indicators,the scheme design of 600/1067 mm gauge changeable power bogie is carried out then a detailed scheme of 600/1067 mm gauge changeable power bogie is put forward.Then the vehicle dynamic model of the bogie is established using SIMPACK,and the dynamics simulation calculation is analyzed.The suspension parameters of the bogie are optimized,and the dynamics performance is predicted through analyzing.The following aspects are studied in detail.Firstly,the development status of gauge changeable bogies,600 mm gauge and 1067 mm gauge rails and vehicles are investigated and analyzed.According to the analysis,it is concluded that there are many types of gauge changeable bogies,which are generally divided into two categories: moving wheels and moving side frames and most of them are trailer bogie;the larger range of gauge changes,the harder of moving wheels;the power bogie is more difficult to change its gauge than trailer bogies;the existing parameters of 600 mm gauge rails and vehicles are very rare and 1067 mm gauge is also seldom used in China;there is a big gap between the relevant parameters of 600 mm gauge and 1067 mm gauge rails and vehicles.Then,based on detailed analysis above,the basic technical route of 600/1067 mm gauge changeable power bogie is determined.The independent rotating wheel without common axle is adopted and the gauge changing is realized through moving side frames.After that,the key components’ structures of the bogie are selected and analyzed to determine the final structural scheme and then the key technical parameters and the whole structure of the bogie are determined.In order to realize the gauge changing,a gauge changeable ground equipment scheme is proposed,and its structural characteristics and working principle in the process of gauge changing are introduced in detail,the analysis indicate that: the whole process of gauge changing of bogie can be realized.Finally,the independent rotating wheel without common axle bogie dynamic model is established.The 1067 mm gauge vehicle model and the 600 mm gauge vehicle model are established respectively.The suspension parameters of the bogie are optimized and determined the optimal values.The dynamic performance is predicted: the vehicle running stability and curve passing safety are calculated respectively.The results show that under two kinds of gauge conditions,every index meets the relevant standards of dynamic performance.
