After the year of 2005,the diesel locomotive technology has made great progress in our country,and successfully built a 6000 hp AC drive diesel locomotive technical platform represented by HXN3 and HXN5 locomotives.In the world,the 4,000-horsepower AC drive diesel locomotive has been widely promoted and applied due to its moderate power class and flexible grouping.In order to meet the diversity needs of China’s railway freight locomotives,the development of 4400 hp AC drive freight diesel locomotives has been listed as a key project of China Railway Company.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Researched the 6,000-horsepower diesel locomotive bogie and high-power freight electric locomotive bogie technology platform.Designed a 4400 horsepower AC drive diesel locomotive bogie with Universal of diesel and electic locomotive bogie design ideas.Realized the application of drive unit and wheel blanks which are key components of the bogie from electric locomotives to diesel locomotives.Determine the main technical parameters of the bogie by parameter optimization(2)According to the force characteristics of the bogie frame,the finite element analysis model of the bogie frame is established.According to UIC615-4 and TB/T 2368,Strength and modal analysis of the established three-dimensional solid model of the bogie frame.The calculated load conditions specify the constraint boundary conditions.By optimizing the structure of the motor suspension surport and other parts,the final frame static strength meets the requirements of the standard.The fatigue strength of the frame is evaluated by the fatigue limit diagram of the steel provided by ERRI B12/RP 17.The calculation results show that the fatigue strength of the frame and its welds and non-welded areas can meet the requirements of relevant standards.Using the Block Lanczos method,the rigid body displacement of the frame is eliminated,and the first 6thorder modal frequency of the frame is obtained.The first-order modal frequency of the frame is 24.54 Hz,and the vibration mode is the torsional vibration of the frame.(3)According to the overall scheme and parameters of the 4400 hp AC drive diesel locomotive and bogie,the multi-rigid dynamics analysis software SIMPACK is used for dynamic simulation.The analytical model is established,and according to TB/T2360,GB5599 and UIC518,the wheel-rail contact geometry,nonlinear critical velocity,vertical and lateral stationarity,and dynamic curve pass-through performance are studied.The calculation results show that the nonlinear critical speed of the locomotive can reach 200km/h,and under normal line conditions,the vertical stability index of the driver’s cab in front of the locomotive is 3.0,and the lateral stability index is 3.0.Through the analysis of the dynamic curves of 300 m and 600 m radius,when the locomotive passes the 300 m radius curve at aspeed of 70km/h,the maximum lateral force of the wheel pair is 90 k N,the maximum derailment coefficient is 0.59,and the maximum wheel load shedding rate is 0.64,which is lower than the corresponding limit value,the locomotive has good curve passing performance.
