| With the rapid development of urbanization in China,the appearance of townships has gradually shown a trend of convergence towards the cities.The vernacular architecture,which contains rich historical and cultural heritage,is replaced by a large number of modern buildings,and the local characteristics of villages and towns are gradually fading away.Therefore,it is very important for the inheritance and development of local culture.Cultural buildings in villages are important carriers for inheriting local characteristics.Rural primary schools are indispensable cultural facilities in villages.It is extremely necessary to design by Neo-vernacular thoughts.Nowadays,a large number of architects are involved in the rural construction.They are actively thinking about how to express the values embedded in rural education architecture.In some cases,the expression of the Neo-vernacular design thoughts is mostly incomplete,unconscious,or contingent,and lack of systematic approach.The values of the Neo-vernacular architecture have not been fully demonstrated.Therefore,this paper selects rural primary schools with Neo-vernacular design tendencies as research objects,tries to sort out their design ideas,and draws systematic design principles and strategies.The paper relies on the logic of modern architecture typology design method and theory,“Meta-logic”,based on the ideas and concepts of Neo-vernacular architecture,and analyzes the domestic and foreign educational buildings.The paper has explored the“Meta-logic”embodied in the Neo-vernacular Primary School on the material and non-material levels,and has been carried out from four aspects: space,form,construction,and humanities.This article is based on relevant cases and follows the architectural typology research method.Through the research of the process which contains the generation of "meta-language" to "object design",this paper extracts the prototype elements that exist in the above four aspects and draws the logic of the corresponding meta-language generation principle,relying on this principle,summed up the design strategy of Neo-vernacular Primary School,namely the meta-language conversion and application methods.This paper hopes to enriche the Neo-vernacular architectural design theory and provides valuable guidance for the design of Neo-vernacular Primary School. |
