Because of the change of the economic environment,the survival and development ofmany small and medium-sized enterprises are facing unprecedented challenges.Many small and medium-sized enterprises in China,due to the economic environment influence and their own developmental reasons,are generally maintain the following phenomena:inaccurate strategic positioning or enterprises have no sense of strategic management at all,which eventually leads to the decline of enterprises competitiveness.How the enterprises deal with the situation leisurely is a realistic problem that every enterprise should seriously consider.Therefore,the study of the development strategy of enterprises is of great guiding significance for the survival and development of enterprises.The mechanical processing industry is the basic industry of China's real economy,which plays a vital role in the economic and social development of our country.Dalian BXD company is a small import tools sales company,the products of this company are mainly used for mechanical processing industry.At this stage,the development of this enterprise has entered into a growing period.How to make enterprises development strategy and how to make a scientific and reasonable plan for the development of the company is particularly important at this stage.First of all,this paper use PEST analysis to analyze the external macro environment,the Potter five force model is applied to analyze the industry to find the opportunities and threats the company is facing,and find out the strengths and weaknesses of the company through the analysis of the internal environment.Finally,through the SWOT analysis matrix,according to the future development direction of the enterprise,we formulate the development strategy,so as to achieve the strategic goal of sustainable and rapid development of enterprises.In order to ensure the smooth implementation and control of strategic objectives,enterprises should mould corporate culture,improving rules and regulations,optimizing the organizational structure and strengthen the reform of talent training,improving enterprises modern information management.The conclusion of this paper has great guiding significance for the future development of Dalian BXD company,and is of reference value for the development strategy of other trade companies.
