With the continuous progress of urbanization,the area of primary and middle school land is continuously compressed,the surrounding construction environment is gradually mixed,and the scope of students' activities is constantly restricted.The campus in the initial planning and construction has ignored the molding of communication space.At the same time,the new concept of quality education in primary and secondary schools is increasingly popularized,paying more attention to the cultivation of students' psychological quality and personality development.The space form and function organization of single teaching mode in primary and secondary schools has long been unsuitable for the development of open education.It has put forward higher requirements for students' learning space and activity space,especially in quality communication.This paper,taking the campus communication space of urban primary and secondary schools as the research content,analyzes the definition and elements of the campus communication space,combined with the relevant investigation and case analysis,and aims at the various problems existing in the current campus communication space,and puts forward the optimization strategies of the five aspects of the integration,continuity,diversification,stereology and ecology of the communication space and the application of the methods.In the design practice of the second junior middle school in Tanghe County,Nanyang,the aim is to explore how to create the campus communication space suitable for the healthy growth of the students under the complex design conditions.
