The Researchon Relationship Between Standardized And Individualized Design Of Expressway Service Area In Hubei Province

The expressway service area is an important ancillary facility of expressway that provides services for passengers and vehicles.With the rapid development of expressway and automobile industry in our country,the problems in designing service area associated with expressway become more prominent.According to the investigation,we find that the current design of the service area have many problems,including designing respectively,long life cycle,pursuing large space blindly,different spacing,lack of scientific and forward-looking,etc.In addition,the location requirements of service areas,configuration standards,layout patterns and so on are also important aspects worthy of further discussion.While standardizing the design of service area,we should also make it adapt to the surroundings,highlight its respective characteristics and improve its identifiability.Through the study of standardized design and personalized display of service area,We hope that it can provide reference for solving the above problems.Firstly,this thesis elaborated the concept and origin of standardization and standardized design,including the category and meaning.Then,based on the summary of analyzing the factors in expressway service areas worldwide,it also clarifies the various components of the expressway service area and related elements suitable for standardized design.Thirdly,through the investigation of part of the expressway service areas in Hubei Province as well as the relevant theoretical studies and horizontal comparison among the studies,,this thesis concluded the current problems and their causes of the service area design,combined with.Accordingly,the solutions were given based on the standardized design,and the content and method of the standardized design of the service area were also proposed.Fourthly,in order to reflect the individuality of the architecture,this paper puts forward the individualized design strategy of expressway service area in Hubei Province,which combines natural resources and human resources.Finally,it analyzes the relationship between personalized design and standardized design of Hubei expressway service area.This study has formed the following conclusions: standardized design of service area is necessary and also feasible which must adhere to the scientific and forward-looking principles;the personalized display of service area is essential which aims to declare regional cultures and improve the comprehensive quality;mutual support between them can form perfect service area design works.
