With the outbreak of the energy crisis, many developed countries are scrambling to start work on energy conservation. In terms of energy consumption, building energy consumption has always occupied the largest proportion,so reducing building energy consumption is an effective way to control rapid energy growth.Foreign scholars have devoted themselves to the study of building energy consumption, and the first passive low-energy building was born in Germany. For our country, the work of building energy conservation was carried out relatively late, especially in temperate regions.Because of its unique climatic conditions, the research on the energy consumption of its residential buildings was minimal."The passive ultra-low power green building technical guideline(residential buildings)"promulgated by Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development in October 2015,which has made relevant provisions in the energy consumption index and air temperate regions. However, the same heating energy consumption limits were adopted in hot summer and cold winter areas, hot summer and warm winter areas and temperate areas. It means that the guideline does not consider the climate differences in different regions. Therefore,it is very necessary to study the energy consumption index of passive residential buildings with low energy consumption in mild areas. In this paper,a typical representative city,Kunming,is selected as research object.Through one year’s survey and visits, the data of indoor and outdoor thermal environment and some basic information of local residents’living conditions were obtained.Although due to the particular climate of Kunming, the energy consumption of the buildings in kunming areas are not very high compared with other climate zones. But in order to study the energy consumption of households in detail, the total energy consumption of the residential buildings is divided into six items, and then to optimize each for energy conservation program. The six separate energy consumption arehouseholdappliancesenergyconsumption, cookingequipmentenergy consumption, heating energy consumption, lighting energy consumption, air conditioning energy consumption and domestic hot water energy consumption. The energy consumption of household appliances and cooking equipment are calculated by comparing the electricity savings and the required purchase costs of different energy efficiency appliances and equipment, and then calculating the NPV within the service life to determine the appropriate energy efficiency rating of household appliances and cooking equipments, and to determine the annual energy consumption of both were 462.13k Wh and 576.62k Wh.The energy consumption of heating, air conditioning and lighting is based on the establishment of a standardized model, which is obtained through the analysis of energy consumption simulation software and mathematical statistics software.First of all, according to the basic situation of measured object construction to establish the model in the Design-builder,and comparing the measured data and simulated data to verify the accuracy of the model. After verifying the accuracy of the model,it was optimized according to energy-saving standards and the above model was adjusted. And use this as a benchmark building. Then based on this building,to list the passive energy saving measures. The heating is achieved by adding different thickness(10-65mm)of insulation material on the exterior while lighting is considered by choosing different lighting luminous efficiency and adjusting the lighting power density(3-6W/m~2).According to the requirements of building energy saving measures to adjust the benchmark model and obtain the heating and lighting energy consumption through the simulation software Design-builder.Based on the market research results,to calculate the annual energy savings AB and annual incremental cost AC of various energy saving measures and make regression analysis of insulation thickness d and lighting power density p,annual energy-saving yield AB,and annual incremental cost AC by using SPSS software. Finally, using the Matlab genetic algorithm toolbox to optimize, ensure that the annual energy-saving income AB is the largest, the annual incremental cost AC is the smallest, and finally determine the insulation layer thickness d is40mm,heating energy consumption is 471.01k Wh;lighting power density is 4.8W/m~2,Lighting energy consumption is 701.11k Wh.The energy consumption of domestic hot water is based on the basic water temperature and the general water consumption of the residents to calculate the demand for hot water. Then according to the efficiency value of the solar water heating system in Kunming, the energy consumption is calculated to be 747.18 k Wh.In addition, the performance of the solar water heating system with air source heat pump as auxiliary energy under different seasons and weather conditions was discussed.Through the economic analysis,we determined the energy efficiency grade 4 air source heat pump system was economical and energy saving. After summing up the final 6 sub-items of energy consumption, the total annual energy consumption of the passive low-energy residential building in Kunming area is 2959.05 k Wh,the per capita annual energy consumption is 986.02k Wh/per·a,and the average annual surface energy consumption is 23.62 k Wh/m~2·a,determined that the annual heating energy consumption index in temperate regions is3.76 k Wh/m~2·a,and the annual primary energy consumption is 9.36 k Wh/m~2·a,which is respectively related to the values specified in the passive low-energy guidelines and comparing the measured data, the rationality of the energy consumption index of passive low-energy residential buildings in temperate regions was pointed out,and the significance of the energy consumption indicators for carrying out energy-saving work in temperate regions was given.
