The corporation competition becomes intense under the background of economic globalization and advancement of information technology.The lack of capability and improvement in working skill emphasizes the urgent and necessity of professional training especially in the background of internal and external environmental changes such as upgrading port facilities and improving service standards acquired by the clients.In order to achieve favourable outcomes,training courses should be well designed to fit corporate strategies,managerial requirements,staff structure,and the science-technological environment in the company.Therefore,it is necessary to take into account goals and requirements of training in course design,and adaptability of training methods.The staff training plan should be implemented timely and systematically for improving the quality of employees.This paper mainly studies LF company,analyses the present situation of the company,researches show that,as the main skilled worker provider for the Port of Tianjin,LF corporation has 90%of employees who are skilled workers.Thus,it becomes an emergent topic that how do we improve their skills through training design with high pertinence and effectiveness.Taking employees with core skills in the LF corporation as the research object,this research introduced well-known training methods and principles applied in course design,and put forth SECI model theory which is closely related to training is studied,four ways of knowledge conversion,and basis of graded training course design theory based on the principle of knowledge conversion between tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge.Moreover,in the process of operation,this research analyzed the data of working experiences,skill levels,and educational background of skilled labors,found the correlation between those elements and training effects on the employees with different level of skills based on the investigation in the performances between learner drivers and skilled drivers in a corporation,and pointed out the main issues in skilled workers training currently.Finally,in order to achieve the sustainability of corporation development through improving quality of employees and technology support,this research put forth a method of training design:the graded course should be designed into three categories,including entry level,medium level,and high level,for core skilled workers such as electric motor truck drivers,diesel truck drives,maintainers,and tally men based on data analysis and SECI model theory;training plan should be well designed and taken contents of training into account;and training approach should be optimized for playing the strength of course design and achieving goals of training.
