With the continuous growth of vehicles ownership in China,urban road traffic safety is facing great challenges.Road construction,traffic safety,traffic jams,environmental pollution and other issues have become the bottleneck restricting the development of cities.Vehicle Ad hoc Networks(VANETs)provide an effective way to solve above problems.Based on the real-time message of the road conditions and the other vehicles in VANETS,the driver can deal with everything flexibly,moreover maybe can avoid traffic accidents.At present,the communication between vehicles is based on the central structure network such as base station.High speed movement of the vehicle will reduce the stability and reliability of the information transmission,which can not satisfy the communications requirements between the vehicles in the city.In this dissertation,a distributed vehicle network is established by using ZigBee wireless module based on relay transmission,in which the vehicles can transmit speed,location,road condition and other information through self-organizing mode.Then,above measures maybe can reduce the probability of traffic jam and traffic accidents.The system is established by STM32 embedded development platform,ZigBee wireless communication module,GPS receiving module and LCD touch display module and so on.In detail,the controlled board chip uses STM32F103ZET6,the embedded system adopts the uC/OS-III operating system,the human-computer interaction interface uses the STemWin graphic interface development platform to realize the receiving and parsing of the GPS information,the transceiver of ZigBee wireless data,and the display of LCD touch screen.Three terminals of the vehicle network experiment systems are put outdoors for practical testing.The test results show that the terminals can receive some parameters such as speed,latitude and longitude,temperature and humidity.Within the range of 150 meters,the terminals can communicate steadily.The LCD interface is stable and can display the information.
