With the development of aerospace technology, aircraft manufacturing technology has been rapidly developed. Fuselage static test is an essential part of the aircraft manufacturing process. The method of analog signal remote transmission is still widely used in fuselage static test. Although this method is safe and reliable, it brings great trouble when place the cables. In this paper, in order to ensure the advantages of the traditional testing method and compensate its shortcomings, we introduce intelligent wireless sensor networks innovativily, and research the critical issues and implementation for application of this technology. The main reserch includes five aspects as follow:1.Demonstrate the feasibility of Zig Bee wireless sensor network technology in fuselage static test.2.On the basis of in-depth study on the Zig Bee protocol, we propose a multi-channel network of cluster networking to improve the Zig Bee network data bandwidth.3.Analysis clock synchronization algorithm of typical wireless sensor network, and propose a wireless sensor network clock synchronization algorithm more suitable for this paper which based on IEEE1588 precision clock synchronization protocol.4.Design hardware and software of the coordinator, and implement network building, clock synchronization, wireless data reception and Ethernet data transmission and other functions of the Coordinator.5.Set up a test environment, bulid a Zig Bee network, and test clock synchronization algorithm and Ethernet transmission functions of the coordinator.In this paper, we use TI's low-power microprocessor MSP430F2618 as the master chip of the coordinator, use CC2520 as the Zig Bee transceiver chip, use GPS as timing module of the coordinator, and use Ethernet as the uplink data channel.Through research of crucial technology, design of network topology, implementation of hardware and software, system testing and results analysing, it proved the feasibility of Zig Bee wireless strain sensor detection system in fuselage static test, and in this way, a new method of fuselage static test is proposed.
