Creative Expression Of Public Art In Old Community And Community Creation

High-speed urbanization construction makes new district rise from the ground.In stark contrast to the modern new town,the old community in the city has gradually declined and become marginalized.With higher public demand for the improvement of the quality of living space,the old urban communities come up with urgent problems of aging and disorder due to aging,lack of maintenance and renewal of the community's space environment.Public art is a powerful method of improving public space environment of old communities because of its public,participative,artistic,environmental,and ecological characteristics.Public art can not only beautify the public space environment of old communities,but also improve the physical environment of communities.It can also promote the spiritual and cultural development of community residents.This article mainly studies the function and application of public art in the public space environment of the old urban community,enhances the public space quality of the old community,enhances the communication and exchange among the community residents,and promotes the atmosphere construction of the community public space.By improving the physical environment of the public space in old urban communities,community residents will increase their sense of identity,belonging,and pride.This dissertation first explains and defines the relevant concepts of the research content of the article,and combs the cases and development contexts of public art involvement in the old community at home and abroad,clarifies the significance of the involvement of the public space in the old community in public art,and seeks interaction between theory and practice.Then we proposed how to effectively use public art to realize the transformation and upgrading of the old community's space quality and the design methods of community building,realize the creation of community space environment.Finally,in this dissertation,the author's practical case “Gangming New Village Community Project in Gongwan Community,Sanxiaokou,Luyang District,Hefei City”summarizes the methods used in the urban old community to create creative expressions in public arts.From theory to practice,and from practice to the development of theoretical research,new ideas are provided for the intervention of public art in public spaces in old communities in China.A corresponding implementation strategy was putforward for the construction of the old community public space environment.
