Research On The Innovative Development Strategy Of HX Aviation Branch

As an integral part of current integrated transportation system in China,regional aviation has been playing a prominent role in supporting national economic construction and promoting people's living condition.In recent years,with the rapid development of urbanization and sustainable improvement of people's living condition in China,a period of strategic opportunities for the development of regional aviation,from the perspective of demand,has appeared.However,an integrated plan for promoting the development of regional aviation,has not clearly proposed because of the constraints of macro-policies,market environment,companies' development strategies,and operation model.That how to develop regional aviation to help improve the accessibility of small and medium-sized cities,and to serve the construction of society and economy has become an important and urgent research question.The research takes HX Airlines which has been focusing on regional aviation for about 11 years in China as a typical case to answer the following three questions.Firstly,what are the main problems HX Airlines face in the development of regional aviation? Secondly,what are the key points to figure out the problems? Thirdly,how to figure out the problems? The research combines quantitative and qualitative approaches,and specifically employs literature research,comparative analysis,and Port Michael Porter's Five Forces Model.In terms of checking the main problems,the research applies a set of self-constructed indicators to measure and evaluate aviation accessibility among small and medium-sized cities in China,and fins that the key obstacle of impeding regional aviation development is the undeveloped aviation network.Next,By carrying out comparative analysis to the regional aviation services in domestic and overseas and environmental analysis to HX Airlines faces,and doing SWOT analysis to find out HX Airlines' strengthens and weaknesses in regional aviation service,the research finds that the crucial point to figure out the bottleneck of regional aviation development lies in making specific development strategy and business model of improving aviation accessibility.In terms of suggestions to improve aviation accessibility,the research proposes that HX Airlines should establish strategy alliance with governments,main airlines,airports,built convenient and efficient aviation network by code sharing,main and regional airlines combing,fast lines,to improve aviation accessibility and ensure the implementation of the development strategy.Meanwhile,the research puts forward specific suggestions on airport construction,policy support,safe operation,human resources,plane group development,finance management,and so on.
