Nitrogen spring is a kind of elastic element which seals high pressure nitrogen in a closed container, and the external force acts on the plunger rod to compress the nitrogen. After the external force is removed, the elastic pressure is acquired by using its internal pressure.as a new elastic element, with less occupied space, the initial elastic pressure, the working process in the basic constant pressure and other advantages,is widely used in automobiles, electronics, light industry, mainly used in the mold, and gradually replaced the traditional mold design of elastic element. At present, the assembly of nitrogen springs is mostly manually assembled by means of tools, with low production efficiency and poor consistency of assembly process, which is difficult to meet the growing market demand.According to the actual production status of enterprises, through the research of flexible assembly system and related product design theory,a reasonable automatic assembly system is designed for the "MQB" series nitrogen spring, and it meets the assembly requirements of 3 kinds of nitrogen springs. The main work of the project is as follows:1.We determine the automation level, equipment type, transmission mode and layout mode of the assembly line, and preliminarily plan the location of the assembly line,by analyzing the company’s actual situation and product structure characteristics.2.According to the main design ideas and design principles of the project process,we analyzed and compared various mechanical implementation schemes of the device function modules, and determined the feasibility scheme. The mechanical structure and working principle of each station are introduced, and the finite element analysis is carried out on the determination of the assembly power of the important station.3.The assembly time of each station in the system is analyzed, and the action time of the important working procedures of each station is optimized, and the production rhythm of the system is finally determined.4.The pneumatic system of the system is analyzed and calculated, the type of pneumatic parts of each station is determined, and the total gas consumption of the system is calculated according to the production rhythm of the system, and the type of the gas source is determined.5.The control tasks and requirements of the system are analyzed. The basic situation of MITSUBISHI PLC is introduced and the model selection of PLC model and related components is determined. The hardware selection of the control system is introduced, the overall process of the system is analyzed and the corresponding control program is written.
