Machine vision inspection technology has the characteristics of accuracy,high efficiency and stability.In this paper,a multi-station vision inspection system is developed,which realizes the cross-scale dimension inspection and defect inspection of spring seat components.The inspection technology based on machine vision has the characteristics of accuracy,high efficiency and stability.In this paper,a multi position visual inspection system is developed to realize the cross scale dimension detection and defect detection of spring seat assembly.High-efficiency industrial automation production inspection equipment based on machine vision technology has become an inevitable development trend,which can meet the needs of enterprises.Although metal parts detection based on machine vision technology has some applications in China,there are still some problems such as detection accuracy,detection efficiency and stability for dynamic vision detection of metal parts with multiple features.Therefore,it is relatively difficult to develop cross-scale(different sizes and accuracies)and types(shapes,sizes and defects)hybrid inspection equipment.The author’s laboratory has made a preliminary attempt on the machine vision inspection method and equipment for spring seat assembly,but there are a series of problems to be solved.In this paper,a new detection system for spring seat assembly is proposed,and a prototype is designed and developed.The main research contents include:(1)This paper expounds the research background and significance of vision detection system for car spring assembly quality,introduces the development and application of vision inspection technology in dimensions and defects at home and abroad,and summarizes the main research purpose and main work of this paper.(2)The geometric shape and size of the spring seat assembly and its testing contents and requirements are analyzed.The design scheme of the detection equipment for the spring seat assembly is demonstrated from the aspects of light source selection,industrial camera selection,lens selection and photoelectric sensor selection.(3)This paper analyzes the working principle and selection calculation of the mechanical hardware of the spring seat component inspection equipment,puts forward and completes the innovative design of cutting mechanism,detection platform and fixture structure.(4)Through the analysis of the size detection image preprocessing,sub-pixel threshold segmentation edge extraction algorithm,shape template matching algorithm,and spoke circle detection algorithm.The cross-scale size extraction and measurement of spring seat assembly are realized,the component’s water leakage hole,inner hole edge welding slag,the largest outer circle gap and gasket outer circle edge gap are identified.(5)The image processing software is designed and the database is constructed for the detection equipment.(6)The prototype is assembled and tested and the results are analyzed...
