The Research On Campus-front Space Of Urban Primary School In Handan

With the development of urbanization,the number of citizens and school-age children in Handan has increased,the primary school area and campus-front space have become more and more tense.The transformation of transportation mode and high pick up rate have led to the original campus-front space for urban primary schools can no longer meet the current usage demand.A special phenomenon often appear around the primary schools,which gathered a lot of people and cars in the campus-front space after school.It makes the traffic jams.The importance of campus-front space in the urban primary school is self-evident as a transitional space between the city and primary schools.From this paper,campus-front space of the primary school in Handan has been taken as an object in this research.Then give some suggestions for campus-front space basing on the investigation data and analysis.The purpose is to provide some help to the design of the campus-front space.The paper is divided into four parts.Firstly,it summarizes the research background of the subject,sorts out the theoretical research both at home and abroad,defines relevant concepts,and explains the environmental elements and characteristics of the campus-front space in primary schools.Secondly,this part determines the scope of research and investigation cases.Then analyze and assess the cases under the guidance of research methods,including questionnaire,actual state of observation and contrastive analysis.Thirdly,this paper puts forward the suggestion for the primary school's campus-front space in the urban from two aspects of traffic organization and space planning.Then select three cases to renovate combining the conclusion and practice.Final,this part sums up the paper,then points out the limitations of this study,and looks forward to the possibility of further research in the future.
