Abstract/Summary:
School is a serious congestion node in the urban road network,and it is the place where students and parents travel.The travel of primary and secondary school students to and from school is an important part of urban residents’ travel.The increase of parents’ transportation makes the traffic congestion around the campus more serious,which has attracted the attention of the government and researchers.Therefore,in order to solve the problem of traffic congestion around the city campus,it should be optimized scientifically and reasonably.Firstly,starting from the problem of traffic congestion around the campus,through the investigation and analysis of students’ and parents’ travel behavior characteristics,campus surrounding facilities and parking demand around the campus,this paper analyzes the causes of traffic congestion around the campus,and provides basic information for optimizing the traffic organization around the campus.Secondly,according to the entropy-fuzzy comprehensive evaluation algorithm,the traffic state of the intersections around the campus is divided into three grades: mild,mild and severe by using three indicators(saturation,average delay and secondary parking rate),which provides research scope for the optimization method of traffic organization around the campus.By determining the influence range of the traffic around the campus,the traffic organization around the campus in the severe congestion range is optimized.In view of the present situation of campus entrances and exits,the campus entrances and exits are improved by increasing the entrances and exits and enlarging the space of campus entrances and exits.Finally,taking Dongfang Middle School in Anning District of Lanzhou as an example,according to the actual investigation,the entropy-fuzzy comprehensive evaluation algorithm is used to delimit the influence range and optimize the traffic organization around Dongfang Middle School.According to the roads,entrances and exits that need to be optimized around the campus of Oriental Middle School,this paper puts forward the traffic organization optimization method,and uses the traffic simulation software VISSIM to model and simulate the existing traffic organization scheme and two optimization schemes around the campus.It also evaluates each simulation scheme by using the intersection evaluation index parameters(average queue length,average delay and parking times),compares the evaluation results of each scheme visually in the form of charts,and selects the most suitable traffic organization optimization scheme around Oriental Middle School by comparing the optimization scheme with the current situation.
